Studio Ghibli Realistic Concept Art
A design studio recently commissioned me to design and render the iconic bathhouse from the anime Spirited Away, which gained renewed popularity in China following its release there. The studio found me via social media and requested a highly detailed, realistic texture while maintaining the movie’s aesthetic. After two months of work, I completed the project and delivered the final model, following minor adjustments, for the studio’s production use.

Charity Warehouse Design Project
Stores and manufacturers often waste food, while charities struggle to feed the hungry. This project offers a chance to reduce food waste and its environmental impact in Malaysia. I volunteered to lead this initiative, driven by LSI’s belief that "selfless giving is the art of living." I oversaw 2D and 3D warehouse layout designs, tender processes, and project management for TLFP’s 10,000 sq. ft. central warehouse, successfully increasing its pallet capacity by 300% compared to the previous facility.

This published research project focuses on solar energy, addressing global warming and the environmental impact of fossil fuels. Among renewable energy sources, solar is the most abundant, and my research centers on optimizing flat plate solar collectors for effective energy use. The study investigates design characteristics, compares conventional and optimized models, and analyzes thermal performance through mathematical modeling and simulations (ANSYS Fluent). The optimized model features superior dimensional sizing and material selection, resulting in a 25.68% lower pressure drop and a significantly higher thermal efficiency (79.32%) compared to the conventional model (61.09%). The findings highlight the optimized model’s potential to outperform conventional market options. The research paper is publicly available for engineers and academics to study and reference.

The Cold Storage Technology Open Day, held at One Utama Hotel Ballroom, aimed to inspire managers and potential business owners on effective warehouse and cold storage design and planning. For this event, I prepared detailed visual slides covering topics such as warehouse budgeting, CAPEX and OPEX for cold storage, system throughput, and pallet capacity. To enhance understanding, I developed 2D and 3D renderings of a standard cold storage warehouse, showcasing equipment like racking, panels, dock levelers, and forklifts. The presentation impressed the audience, leading to multiple high-potential client acquisitions for my company.
